Matthew P. Stevens

Matt has consulted with schools and community-based institutions across the country in the area of Career Development. He has been recognized as a leader in educational, business and government sectors for his work with teenagers in the area of college and career preparation. He has designed and coordinated extended school day programs focused on work force readiness for Rutgers University, St. Peter’s University and Kean University. These programs provided services to high school and college students.


His event management experience in the area of College and Career Readiness includes the establishment and coordination of the Young Men Employment Network Student Conference at Rutgers University in New Jersey. This conference services 500 Newark Public School students annually. Matt also served as principal organizer and manager of the 2002 United States Youth Games which were conducted in Newark, New Jersey.

He received a B.A. in Sociology from Bloomfield College and a Mentor Program Manager Certificate from the Fordham University Graduate School for Social Work.


Matt is a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, inc., Eta Pi Chapter. In the year 2020/2021 he was appointed Chairman for the Corridor 4 Fatherhood Initiative and Mentoring Committee, and is responsible for helping to expand mentoring programs throughout the State of New Jersey. His accomplishments included the design of comprehensive virtual mentoring programs that reached over one thousand youth during the height of the COVID 19 Pandemic. He was awarded the Corridor 4 Graduate Brother of the Month for August 2020, March 2021 and The 2021 Eta Pi Chapter Omega Man of the Year.

Caryl R. Lucas

Caryl R. Lucas has spent more than a decade as an accomplished career development and youth

professional recognized for contributions in the field of workforce development, youth

education programming and mentoring. As a fulltime entrepreneur, speaker and consultant,

she provides coaching and job readiness training services to state government agencies as well

as youth programs for middle, high school and college students. She also specializes in bully

prevention and soft skills for youth.

Caryl Lucas is proficient in the areas of career and workforce trainings and has created

numerous programs and courses for youth. She is the founder of Coach on Call Trainings and

regarded as a trusted workforce development consultant. Her clients include the New Jersey

Career One Stop, the Essex County WIOA Youth Services, local public sectors agencies,

nonprofit organizations, schools and colleges.

Caryl Lucas also is a trainer for the Welcome 2 Work (W2W). She specializes in communications

skills, entrepreneurship, customer service training, and personal development for youth. She is

passionate about improving the lives of youth and adults and helps individuals discover their

strengths and purpose.

Caryl Lucas is a the founder of the Unstoppable Girls Foundation, which provides antibullying

and leadership programs for girls, and the Unstoppable Youth peer to peer mentoring initiative.
